The difference? Openoffice Impress is free. PowerPoint Prezi is an inexpensive online multimedia slide show creator. It has many template options and unlike PowerPoint it is NON linear letting you choose your own path giving the presentation a unique look. Prezi also uses flash based visuals not just slides.
